Karl Blossfeldt is one of the most famous classical photographers in the world.
He is best known for his precise photographs of plants.

The clarity, precision and apparent lack of mediation in his images, as well as their presentation of essential forms in art and architecture, earned him the acclaim of the proponents of New Vision photography. His work was at the centre of important exhibitions, including ‘Fotografie der Gegenwart’ and ‘Film und Foto’, both in 1929.
